|WHAT IS THE FALL BASH?|
The fall bash is a yearly raffle and fundraiser hosted by the Moorefield Volunteer Fire Company. It will be held on Saturday, September 5th, 2020. The gates will open at 10:00 am. Opening ceremonies and early-bird drawing will begin at 11:30 am and the first drawing will be at noon.
|WHERE IS THE FALL BASH?|
The Fall Bash is located at the Tri-County Fairgrounds in Petersburg, WV (107 Rig Street). This is an open air venue that provides a large shaded and covered area with seating and tables. You may consider bringing your own chairs if you would be more comfortable. Seating is first COME, first SERVE
|HOW DOES THE RAFFLE WORK?|
The fall bash is a raffle using four lottery-type machines. Every five minutes, four separate numbers are drawn (one number from each machine) to make a four digit number. If the four digit number matches your ticket number then you win the giveaway for that time slot. Any unpurchased numbers that are drawn, will be redrawn at the end of the event. All giveaways will be awarded.
|CAN I WIN MORE THAN ONCE?|
Yes. Since the drawing uses lottery-type machines, your number could be selected numerous times.
|DO I NEED TO BE THERE TO WIN?|
No. Ticket holders do not need to be present to win. Ticket holders will be contacted if their number is selected. All winning numbers will be posted on moorefieldfire.com during and after the event. In addition, during the event there are multiple monitors through the fairgrounds displaying the winning numbers.
|WHAT DO I DO IF I WIN?|
If you are at the event we will have a checkered flag area set up for you to claim your giveaway. If you are not able to attend, you will be contacted via telephone. If you are not contacted or cannot wait for your wonderful winnings, please contact 304-257-7373.
|WHAT DO I GET WITH THE PURCHASE OF MY TICKET?|
Admission to the event (Please bring your ticket to the event in order to gain admission), a chance to win a giveaway every five minutes for 7 straight hours, all you care to eat buffet (beginning at 12:00 pm. Water and soda will be available starting at 11:00 am), access to lots of activities and entertainment, and as always FREE PARKING (There are plenty of large parking areas within walking distance of the fairgrounds.)
|WHAT ACTIVITIES WILL BE AT THE EVENT?|
Live entertainment, raffles, food and other vendors, gun table, and lots more.
|WHAT'S AN EARLY BIRD?|
For those that purchase their ticket during the early bird period they will receive 5 dollars off the ticket price of $50 plus be entered into 5 early bird only drawings at 11:30. These five drawings are for $1,000 each.
|WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I GET TO THE GATE?|
You will show your ticket. If you lost your ticket, gate personnel will check your ID and look your ticket up in our system. If you do not have a ticket you will be able to purchase one at the gate (if not sold out). You will have your ticket stamped. If you need to leave, please get your hand stamped before departing. This will allow you to leave the fairgrounds and come back if needed.
|CAN I PURCHASE A TICKET IN MY CHILD’S NAME?|
You may purchase a ticket in their name if they are over 18 years of age. All tickets holders MUST be 18 or older by the date of the drawing.
|CAN I BRING A GUEST?|
An adult guest ticket costs $20. ONLY (1) adult guest per ticket holder; Only (1) child under 12 admitted free per ticket holder. ALL children must be accompanied by an adult and please keep them with you at all times! Please do NOT send guest ticket money, this will be accepted at gate ONLY. Guests are not entered into the giveaway drawings but have access to all the other event happenings.
|CAN I BRING A COOLER?|
Coolers are permitted with no restrictions on the contents but they may be subject to search.
|CAN I SMOKE AT THE FALL BASH?|
Smoking is not permitted on the fairgrounds. You will have to leave the fairgrounds and smoke outside of the gate. Also keep in mind the Fall Bash is a drug free zone. Please help keep it that way.
|HOW CAN I PAY FOR A TICKET?|
Methods of purchase: Cash, Check, Paypal, or Credit Card
|CAN I BRING MY PET?|
No. Pets are not allowed. Service dogs are always welcome. Pets may stay in the campgrounds if you are camping.
|WHERE CAN I STAY?|
Camping is available onsite. Camping is first come first serve. Some electric/water hookups may be available. Also, follow THIS LINK for local hotel information.
|IS THERE AN ATM LOCATED ONSITE?|
Yes. All games around the fairgrounds are cash only.
