Rules & Regulations Regarding the Rental of the Moorefield Volunteer Fire Company’s Bingo Hall
Smoking
No Smoking is allowed in the building at any time. This is a county ordinance, enforced by the Health Department. Tenants responsible for ensuring that guests are aware of the ordinance and monitoring its provisions.
Heating & Cooling
No person should alter the temperature settings of the HVAC equipment. The system is equipped with a failsafe, any tampering will lock out the system for 3 hours. This could result in damages to equipment of which the tenant may be responsible.
Bingo Equipment
No person is allowed around the Bingo equipment at any time. Any damage as a result of misconduct or other means may result in forfeiture of the tenant’s security deposit.
Warehouse Portion
No unsupervised person is allowed in the warehouse portion of the building at any time (other than to gain access to the kitchen facilities).
Children
Children on the premises are to be supervised by an adult at all times.
Telephone
The use of the telephone is restricted to emergency calls only. All other calls made during a rental are the sole responsibility of the tenant.
Kitchen
If use of the kitchen facilities is needed, a detailed list of appliances and requirements is required prior to occupation.
Accidents
The Moorefield Volunteer Fire Company and Ladies Auxiliary are not responsible for accidents during any period occupied by tenant and guests.
Trash
Clean-up of the premises is required after tenant’s use of the facility. Failure to adequately clean the premises will result in forfeiture of tenant’s security deposit. All trash must be placed in receptacles provided on the loading dock.
Alcoholic Beverages
The Moorefield Volunteer Fire Company assumes no liability for alcoholic beverages served on the premises by tenant for their guests at any time. Tenant assumes all liability for ensuring that state laws are followed for service of alcoholic beverages.
Destroying, Defacing, or Removing
Tenant shall personally refrain and forbid any other person who is on the premises, from intentionally or negligently destroying, defacing, or removing any fixture, appliance, or other part of the premises.
Bingo Hall Care
These premises are for your enjoyment and are a result of the efforts to support the Moorefield Volunteer Fire Company and Ladies Auxiliary. It is therefore our charge to you, to ensure the future of these premises by striving to help us to take care of this facility.
