Mini-Bash FAQs
Have questions about the Mini-Bash? We’ve got you covered! Below you’ll find answers to the questions we hear most often. Whether you’re attending for the first time or returning for another Mini-Bash, this FAQ helps you prepare for a great day of food, entertainment, and giveaways. In addition, we regularly update this page with new information and answers to common questions.
What is the Mini-Bash?
The Mini-Bash is a fundraising event hosted twice each year by the Moorefield Volunteer Fire Company. Think of it as a smaller version of our popular annual Fall Bash. Each ticket includes admission to the event, all-you-can-eat food and drinks, and a chance to win giveaways every 15 minutes throughout the event.
How do the drawings work?
We use a spinning barrel to randomly select winning tickets. Every 15 minutes, we draw one ticket at random to win the advertised giveaway.
Afterward, we return the winning ticket to the barrel, giving every ticket another chance to win throughout the day. As a result, one lucky ticket could win multiple prizes. We award every advertised giveaway.
Do I have to be present to win?
No. You do not have to attend the event to win.
If you’re unable to attend, we’ll contact you if your ticket is selected. After the event, we’ll also post all winning numbers on this website.
What is included with my ticket?
Each ticket includes:
- Admission to the event (your ticket is required for entry)
- A chance to win giveaways every 15 minutes for six hours
- An all-you-can-eat buffet featuring favorites such as chicken wings, hamburgers, hot dogs, macaroni salad, potato salad, baked beans, and more
- Soft drinks and draft beer
- Live entertainment, additional games, and other activities throughout the day
Where is the Mini-Bash held?
The Mini-Bash takes place at the Moorefield Volunteer Fire Company Bingo Hall, located at 225 Jefferson Street in Moorefield, West Virginia.
The Bingo Hall offers plenty of indoor seating with tables in two separate sections. Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Since we primarily use folding chairs, you’re welcome to bring your own chair for additional comfort.
Where can I park?
You can park free of charge at the Bingo Hall. In addition, several nearby public parking areas are within walking distance.
What should I expect when I arrive?
Please bring your event ticket for admission.
If tickets remain available, you may purchase one at the door. However, guests who wish to enjoy draft beer must present a valid photo ID and wear the provided age-verification wristband throughout the event.
What happens if I win?
If you’re attending the event, you may be able to claim your prize before you leave.
Otherwise, we’ll contact you after the event to arrange prize pickup.
What activities are available?
In addition to the main ticket drawings, you’ll enjoy live entertainment, delicious food and drinks, additional games, our popular gun table, and more throughout the day.
Can I purchase a ticket for my child?

Can I bring a cooler?
